The Graham School Foundation is committed to supporting The Greenburgh Graham School District as it helps every student graduate high school and prepare for college and career. The Graham School students are at risk and underserved; the odds of success in life have been stacked against them. It is our mission to increase the likelihood of their success by creating an academically stimulating program, within a therapeutic environment, that motivates them to invest themselves in school and their future.
The Graham School is a specialized school district and has a different state-funding model than other community districts. Consequently, funding programs and activities that most students take for granted is not possible. It is the Foundation’s mission to supplement the school district’s programming as it offers an environment in which all students’ learning styles and needs can be addressed to help close the achievement gap.
Through cultural and athletic opportunities, we can introduce students to positive outlets as they build relationships. With tutors and coaches, thought-provoking lessons and enriching classes, we can increase our students’ intellectual curiosity and help each student flourish. It is our mission to help students find their strengths, believe in themselves, and reach their full potential.
